Étude runs inside your own claude.ai account as a connector. It takes about a minute, you keep your own Claude account, and you can remove it in the same place you added it.
These are Claude's rules rather than ours, and they can change. Claude's help centre on custom connectors →
Étude lives inside your Claude account, so you need one first. Everything below happens in Claude, not here.
In Claude, open Settings and find Connectors. Claude moves its menus from time to time; if the wording has changed, look for the screen that lists the apps and services connected to your account.
Étude is not in Claude's connector directory yet, so it is added by URL rather than picked from a list. That is what the custom-connector option is for. If Claude will not let you add one, re-read “Before you start” above — on the Free plan you can only have one at a time.
EtudePlain letters, no accent — Etude, not Étude. The accented spelling has been observed to stop Claude picking the tools up, so the connector installs and then does nothing. If you already named it with the accent, rename it here.
https://api.etudeapp.ai/functions/v1/mcpNothing else goes in the other fields. Étude does not need a client ID or a secret from you.
Claude opens Étude's sign-in. Continue with Google, Apple, or your email address, then approve the access Claude asks for. You land back in Claude when it is done — there is nothing to finish on our side.
Start a new chat and ask Claude to set up your semester. Étude's tools appear in the conversation and the setup walkthrough opens. If they do not, see below.
Étude uses the Google Calendar, Drive, and Classroom connections that already live in your Claude account. It never asks for passwords and never signs in to anything on your behalf. No connector is required to use it.
